hello! my name is gloria, i'm 26, i'll be starting a phd program at uw this coming fall and i'll be moving to seattle from italy, so i'm looking for a place that's not too far from campus, with a reasonable price and that is also cozy, clean and friendly, starting on sept. 1 (but willing to consider renting earlier should i find an awesome match).
as you can expect from a true italian i like cooking and making nice (vegetarian) sunday meals. i'm not a loud person at all though, i don't love parties and pubs and i know how to live respectfully in shared spaces. i will have a pretty buisy schedule myself but i would still love to have friendly housemates of about my age to socialize and share some spare time with.
ideally my budget would be for a room that's around $600/750 (plus utilities) in the area of the u-district (of course), but i'm also considering ravenna, the northeast area, wallingford, freemont, green lake or east lake
