hello everyone, my name is amanda and due to a career change i am moving all the way from virginia beach to upstate new york. i have only visited ny a few times, so living up there is truly going to be a brand new experience for me. i have only one friend and one relative that reside in ny, so when i find a roommate i'm hoping to find someone that clicks with me who is eager to show me the sites.

a little bit about me: i am a complete gamer chick/nerd. i love video games, board games, tabletop, rpg, you name it and i enjoy reading comics. i enjoy going to the gym and partaking in outdoor activities. i also occasionally enjoy binge watching my favorite tv shows.

i do have two traveling companions whom will be staying with me. i have a well-behaved, socialized, laid back, 75 pound dog named achilles and a tiny gecko named vex. so i am looking for a pet friendly environment. i would prefer a place with a backyard however achilles is used to being walked on a daily basis so if it comes down to it no yard is ok.

last but not least i do occasionally enjoy the social drink, however i choose to normally stop after two drinks. i also do not smoke nor do i do drugs. i guess that's it for now, bye.
