hi everyone i recently moved back to san diego from seattle and will be needing to find a roommate starting anytime after september 1st. i would prefer ideally to only share with one person but am open to multiple roommates if the place is big enough. just to clarify i'm looking to move in with someone else, i'm not offering a room.

i do have a small dog (pug) her name is lilly and she is house trained, non destructive well behaved and gets along well with other animals and has lived with 3 cats as well as a variety of dogs so a pet friendly home is best. its great to find fellow pet owners so we can help care for each others pets when needed.

i'm a 44 year old male who works as a chef with a standard 6am-3pm schedule mon-fri with weekends off. i'm pretty quiet yet sociable and enjoy pretty much most outdoor activities, camping, hiking, kayaking, concerts, etc.... i'm not someone who would have a bunch of strangers over nor am i a partier but enjoy company and love meeting new friends. i don't use drugs and rarely drink so all i ask for is consideration in regards to a respectful roommate.

i'm someone who enjoys a clean community space and definitely do my part to keep the house clean as well as any outdoor upkeep that needs to be done and if you have pets i definitely don't mind trading off pet sitting services if you're away for a few days :)

all my past roommates have been women and that seemed to work really well and would be my preference, although i am open to either. i'm pretty responsible and always pay my bills on time and most people find me really laid back and easy to get along with. so please feel free to ask me any questions in regards to a roommate situation.

i would really like to pay no more than $850 and my preference would be to find a place with internet and washer/dryer in the home. i work near rancho penasquitos/poway area so it would be nice to be reasonably close for easy access to that area.
