howdy,

my name is matt, and i am in the process of trying to find a room to rent ideally in "close-in" portland. about me, i am 28, i have no children, no pets, and i am very outgoing and easy to live with. i also have a steady income, as i have been a self supporting renter since the age of 19. as the title says, i always pay my bills on time, unquestionably. i also graduated from psu with a bs in human resources, and a bs in general management about 2 years ago, so i would say i am fairly well educated.

i currently live in portland, and i am looking to stay in portland. my lease will be ending soon, and i am ready for a change, thus i am on the hunt for a new place. i have been a renter since i was 19, and have not once paid my rent late, or been evicted. i have been living at the place i am at now for about 1 year, and i was in my last place for over three years, so that has got to say something. my current place runs about $370 each plus utilities for my roommates and i. like i said previously, i have steady income, yet i am trying to start saving as much money as possible so i will be prepared to pay on my student loans when that bridge has got to be crossed (which is sooner rather than later i'm afraid).

a little about me, i am a glass all-the-way-full kinda guy, which assisted me when i owned and operated a remodeling company, although i haven't been actively doing that for a few years, in part due to the economy, but mostly due to the fact i have been swamped with life. this means that if the place i move in to ever has any issues, i have most likely experienced it, and have the tools and experience to get it done right. i am also an avid outdoorsman. i love to go on extended backpacking trips, rafting, running, disk golfing (love the disc golf), skiing, or just hangin' out at the park throwing a frisbee or kickin' a soccer ball. i also have a fairly extensive record collection, so prepare yourself for some awesome music. additionally, i am looking for a house that is ommp friendly, as i hold a card, i hope that isn't a deal breaker. i love to cook, and pride myself on both my cooking and bbqing skills, among other things. i like to keep a clean house, and have no problem doing what is necessary to keep the place ship-shape. please feel free to e-mail me back, or call me at your earliest convenience if you think you may have a place or a room for rent that you think could gel well. i have no problem meeting prior to checking out the living facilities if need be.
