we are keith, tracy & pup-pup (7 lbs chihuahua-jack russel mix. trained, sweet and devoted).
we are looking for a place with a price range of 500.00-900.00 total. we prefer a separate entrance... like an adjacent residence or a basement, etc. but not required. what is required is a private bathroom & the ability to use the kitchen regularly & a space that is large enough for two & not right next to another bedroom.
we are employed: keith works part-time in the field & part-time from home. i work full-time as a recruiter @ an office. we do ok financially but have debt we are paying off & need a decent rent price in order to do so.
the catch, besides the obvious couple-with-dog status, is, we are not in our twenties. we are in our 40's. but very young-at-heart, fun, kind of alternative & unconventional but day-job normal. we don't have kids & we are pretty much drama-free. our biggest issue is our financial situation & the lack of affordable & decent rentals out there.
our financial situation does not include anything shady... we have impeccable rental references & we are absolutely crime-free... i have a large student loan & credit card debt. nothing we can't afford if over half of our income isn't going toward rent.
we drink wine or cocktails occasionally, we go out here and there on weekends... we mostly stick to our living space and watch movies, do projects, etc.
i have a masters in fine art: i paint on the side, keith is a photographer and graphics guy. we are chatty sometimes when appropriate but mostly amongst ourselves. it would be nice to be friends with potential roommates... we would like roommates in our age-range... or at least mid-to-late 30's.
it would be nice if we could find another couple to live with/ adjacent to... we are lgbtq-friendly so, an lgbtq couple would be just fine with us. we are 420-cool... recreational-cool/ friendly but, please, nothing gross.
we are liberal-leaning.
