i am an emancipated minor looking for a place to live. this means i am under 18 *but* i have went before a judge and been able to prove to him i am responsible, and mature enough to be legally treated as an adult. therefore, all contracts i enter into are just as legally binding as they would be for someone over 18 (ex: leases). if i don't hold up my end of the rent you the right to deal with it just as you would anyone else over the age of 18 (taking me to court, kicking me out, etc.). i carry no more risk as a renter than anyone else over the age of 18.

i'm not looking to party, have friends over all the time, or even "experience freedom". i'm just looking for a stable place to live. i pay bills in full and on time. i clean up after myself. i'm generally pretty introverted so i'll usually be in my room working or writing. i work from home as a transcriber, but intend to pick up a second job when i get there.
