easy going 26 year old male looking to find a room in manhattan/astoria. access to public transportation is very important and so is the nearby area, which i hope would allow for outdoors activities and offer good bar/restaurant scene.
roommate wise, i've lived with both females and males before and never had an issue since everyone sort of understands the basic rules of shared living. ideally, i'd like to have my own bedroom and bath, but depending on what we can find or what's out there being offered, i'll consider a different option as well.
we dont have to be best friends, but in my experience i've made good friends with most people i've lived with, while allowing for personal space for everyone involved. i am not very fussy about the utilities/furnishings/food/etc sharing and can go with any agreed-upon arrangement. i am clean, respectful, orderly (not ocd though, definitely not), financially stable, drug & drama free, and easy going.

i am moving from chicago and this will be my first time in new york, so i would like to be around fun people who like to parttake in activities indoors/outdoors but at the same time allow for a busy workweek. :)
