i'm a 30-year old professional male still pretty new to denver. the lease to my current apartment ends in mid-june, and i'd like to move to a larger place with a roommate or a few. i have a medium-sized dog, so that would need to be ok. i'm pretty open-minded about location, but would prefer to be somewhat close to a lightrail stop. i'm also hoping to find a place with a dishwasher and a washer/dryer in the unit. i also don't need crazy new finishes, but wouldn't mind that if the price is reasonable. a house with a yard would be great, but that's not very likely, so an apartment would be fine. i have most things to furnish an apartment, except for stuff for your bedroom. willing to negotiate these things and put some of my stuff in storage if necessary.

i plan that we would split the rent, utilities and internet (i'd likely get cable for myself and would split that too if you wanted it). i'd hope to keep my total individual budget under $825/month. i'm looking to move early to mid-june, but also have a little bit of flexibility too. i'm also looking for something for at least 6 months, but potentially would be ok with a year-long lease too. i'm open to finding a place with a new roommate or to moving in to someone's existing place.

the gender of the roommate doesn't matter to me. i'd prefer no weed smoking at the place (don't care about that away from the place), but cigarette smoking would be ok as long as it is outside. you would need to be ok living with a dog. i'm somewhat clean and would expect the same from you (but not immaculate). your schedule doesn't really impact me unless you are loud at night (i keep a typical 9-5 work schedule).

i'm an introvert, an educated professional and a big sports fan. i also watch a some tv and end up working a lot from home in the evenings. every once in a while i kick back and have a few drinks and wouldn't mind being able to do that at the place--maybe even some low key gatherings. i don't want to live in a party house.
