about me:hi! my name is heather and i'm an incoming msw student at umb, moving to baltimore in august. 36 years old, quiet, responsible, nondrinker, nonsmoker (no drugs), excellent credit and respectful of others' property.
i'm currently a peace corps volunteer in cameroon and will be looking for housing from here online and flying into baltimore at end of july to follow up with potential places and put down a deposit if necessary. will go visit family and friends from there and be back to baltimore on august 26th--(school orientation is aug 27).
this is what i'm looking for:
a decent, comfortable, quiet, safe place to rent while going to school. a nearby park is a plus.
$600-$650 max rent with all utilities/wifi included.
furnished room. (i sold everything i owned before moving to africa!)
private bathroom.
a place within 30 min walking distance from umb and near public transport. i don't have a car at this time, but might buy one later.
washer/dryer on site.
i'm cool with all animals (except spiders!)
no preference as to male or female roommates.
i want to pay upfront for entire fall semester (last week of august, and sept-dec) and then probably month to month for spring semester. i'd be happy to sign a short term lease or similar agreement. (next summer i might be looking into buying my own place.)
