i'm looking for a housemate to extend my lease in this fantastic house starting 5/1. it's located in an affluent neighborhood on a quiet street that faces a branch of rock creek park. it takes 5 minutes to drive north to bethesda, 15 minutes to the monuments thanks to being very near to beach drive, and is located on the e6 bus route. there are 3 bedrooms (1 is used as a guest bedroom/den), a driveway, patio, sunroom, w/d, central air conditioning, fireplace, 2nd empty room, and a sizable backyard. i am a 33 year old veterinarian, vegetarian, have 1 cat, and occasionally foster a dog. my cat may consider an older, quiet large dog, but no other pets beyond that, please. i am quiet, a nonsmoker, and i expect the same in a housemate. i have lived here for 2 years and am very happy with the place. my current housemate is moving closer to his family. the rent is $1450 each, plus about $150 for utitilites. we would have to sign a minimum of a 3 month lease, but can extend that to a year.
