hi! i'm leslie, my husband andrew & i are looking to rent out two rooms in our house in laurel. we're a married couple in our late twenties. we don't smoke and we're not partiers. we started a business this past year and we work 6 or 7 days a week. we're friendly, but kind of shy and quiet and we're a little bit geeky. we have a huge cat who loves people.

we're pretty neat and respectful of other people's belongings, and would like you to be that way too. we like regular cleaning and scheduled chores that everyone shares in. (ok, no one actually likes chores, right? but we do like having a clean kitchen).

we have two rooms available (rent one or both of them). larger (10x11.5') room is $600 a month, smaller (8.5x11') room is $500 a month (both plus 1/4 of the total utilities for the house approx $60 and $125).

cute little house in a quiet neighborhood. the kitchen is nice size with lots of counter space. gas stove that isn't new but works great and a new fridge. the shower is pretty awesome - huge with great water pressure. there in only one shared full bath, but there is also a half-bath. we have high speed interent and fios tv, with wireless internet throughout. if you want wired internet or cable to your room, we can help you run the lines to there.

most of the houses here don't have driveways, including ours, but there is lots of street parking. short drive to ft. meade and umd from here and super quick to get on 95, 29 or 295.

big fenced in yard with two back porchs. we also have a fire pit in the back yard and a big propane grill, both of which we are happy to share.

month-to-month to start, with 30 days notice given if it isn't working out for anyone. longer lease is possible if all is working out well - short term ok too.

we're looking to rent to quiet, chill, responsible and drama-free people. we don't mind pets as long as their well behaved & house broken.
