be our third roommate!the two of us: mid-twenties women who love festivals, running, cooking good food, chatting while cooking good food, and hanging out with our own friends as well as each other. we care about neatness and drama-free housing, and open, non-passive-agressive communication.
you: one of you (no couples!), friendly and responsible, non-smoking, and considerate of other people and the environment. looking for a bedroom with two closets, lots of windows, and a bathroom shared with one other roommate. able to pay $1000/month rent plus utilities (split), plus a one-time $35 application fee to the leasing company.
you+us = housemates living peacefully in a lovely row house that features a full kitchen, walk-in pantry, living and dining rooms, and a washer/dryer set in the basement.
in terms of transportation, the house is located within walking distance of both the friendship heights and tenleytown metro stations on the red line, along with the friendship heights bus hub. street parking is available with permit, and there is plenty of space in the basement to store a bicycle.
