hi! we’re melissa & steve. we’ve been sharing our friend’s house with them for the last two years. they recently moved to okinawa and we need to replace them for a few months. i’m a retail sales manager and steve is in the service industry. our hours are pretty normal, 6/7am – 5/6pm, neither of us are off on set days. we’re both incredibly easy going. we enjoy watching movies, playing board games, riding bikes around the neighborhood, cooking, grilling, sharing wine, etc. with our current roommates, we watch tv or movies and cook together on the weekend. kind of like a little family however, if you prefer to keep to yourself, we will not be offended. we each have a dog, one lab and one hound. if you’re allergic, this may not be the place for you.the house is a 3br/2ba located in central val-p. we’re two blocks from hwy 20, one block from bayshore (which has all the water and several neat parks), and one mile from the east gate of eglin afb. you’ll have your own room and � of the office, if you’d like to store anything in the closet or have a desk/computer area. the bathroom will be shared, but steve is very clean. shared spaces are the large living room, the dining room, kitchen, laundry and garage. we have a large, fenced yard with dog doors if you have dog(s). the two car garage doubles as a workshop (and storage), and has air conditioning. parking is off street in the driveway. its three cars wide and about three cars deep, so they’re plenty of space. our neighborhood is quiet. the neighbors are nice and pretty much keep to themselves (everyone is older).
the rent is $650 and includes all utilities. it can be paid in one lump sum at the beginning of the month or broken up into weekly or bi-weekly payments, whichever works best for you.
