my friend has lost her marbles and decided to get engaged, which means i need a co-captain in tigard! interested? well, keep reading...requirements:
-must be able to pay rent. (half of $775 and utilities) i don't care if you strip for it, scoop poop for it, or steal from a bum to afford it. just pay it. (kidding about the last part of course-maybe, but if you do, make sure he doesn’t have a criminal background)
-must be easygoing. i'm not a perfectionist but i'm not a slob. if you are type a ocd anal retentive that needs cups and foods in alphabetical order then you better be cool with me not doing that and harassing you for it. i don't mind a few dishes in the sink but if you can't see the counter there's a problemo! you could have a dumpster in your room for all i care, as long as the common areas are decent.
-must be cool with the fact on certain days i'm up until 4 a.m. i have a weird schedule so we probably wont even see each other most of the time. most people sleep when i work!
negotiables:
-gender: i don't care if you are male or female, but i'd prefer a female so that we can have a little more in common and lines don’t get blurred, if you know what i mean. actually i'd love to have a gay male roomate! oh my gaga!
-pets: i love pets but it would have to be something that wont stink up the apartment. i’m open for discussion
-smoking: it’s fine as long as you go outside, but i don’t smoke so i wont be joining you. i would prefer a non-smoker.
non-negotiables:
-if you didn't pay for it, don't eat it. i'm selfish with my food! lol
-drugs (including 420) we don't need to be giving cops a reason to be here! if you 420 once in a great while that is fine, but i’d prefer you to do it outside of our apartment. just don’t be growing an operation for goodness sake! haha
overall, i am an independent, open-minded, free-spirited, creative, carefree, passionate, mostly liberal (although i don't discuss politics often) person who is interested in the arts, music, and writing. i don’t often have parties at the apartment (it’s just not big enough) but i wouldn’t mind the occasional get together. it would be awesome if you were as outgoing as me and liked to dance, travel, attend festivals and sporting events, dress up for theme parties, drink wine, and be merry. just be kick-ass and no drama and we'll get along just fine. as you can tell from reading this, i’m not a person who takes life too seriously, but i do pay all of my bills and am professional when needed. i am in my late twenties and would prefer someone in their mid 20’s - mid 30’s who is a kid at heart. the complex here, called avalon park, is amazing! you can look on their website at the 2 bedroom for room size measurements. did i mention you get your own bathroom and there is a deck?! this place has a pool, hottub, sauna, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, racquetball court, its very own private park, and free movies and books to rent. i really do love it here. here’s the link: http://www.avalonparkvideo.com/.
obviously if you moved in soon you'd get the rest of august free. i am hoping to have someone by september if at all possible. the lease is up in december, so you'd just have to sign your name to it. in december we could either part ways or decide to sign up for longer. :) the old roommate even says she'll sell her bed to the person who moves in! i’d like to exchange social networking sites before we meet so i can get an idea of who you are, and vice versa.
