apartment: this is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath condo. the private bedroom is 10x12 feet which can comfortably accommodate 1 queen bed, 2 nighstands and one dresser. there is plenty of closet space in the apartment. it is a quiet building with private parking. the apartment is on the top floor, facing the rear of the building. the rent includes all utilities except for cable/internet. if you prefer to use public transportation the bus stop (for three ride on buses) is conveniently located in the front of the building taking you to either takoma metro or silver spring metro.
neighborhood: very close to washington d.c. (1 mile to nw) and downtown silver spring (2 miles). takoma metro is located one mile from the building as well as bus boys and poets and other restaurants. there is a corner store about two blocks away. sligo creek trail is adjacent to apartment which is convenient for walking/jogging/bicycling. washington adventist hospital and washington adventist university are within walking distance. strayer university and montgomery college are about one mile away. it is also very close to shopping and grocery stores.
