the house is located in dogtown about 1/2 mile due south of the st. louis zoo. easy access to i-64 and i-44. this is a well maintained single family home on 1/3 acre lot at the end of private cul-de-sac. the 1300 "livable" sq ft were gut rehabbed in the late 90's. there is a lot of indoor (climate controlled) and attic/outdoor storage. for additional privacy, the lower level can be used as a studio apartment complete with a full bath, wet bar, mini refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and hot plate. the additional bedroom (not pictured) on upper level can be used in lieu of exclusive access to lower level. the full kitchen, deck, fenced yard and living room on upper level are available for use as well. the space you choose to use can remain furnished or emptied as necessary. there are 50" plasma flat screen tvs on each level and cable outlets in every room. a housebroken, well trained small to medium dog is ok with an additional pet deposit. half of the gas, electric, trash, water and sewer should come to under $125/mo. full premium cable, internet and phone/fax line available for 1/2 of actual cost. i am a physically and politically active, 44 year old. i get along well with my neighbors, who are all very laid back. many of them have lived here since the homes were built in the mid 1940's. i am 4:20 friendly and tend to use colorful language. kids and/or uptight adults should be announced so i can be sure to be on my best behavior or off shopping somewhere. i have a good sense of humor and can usually find something funny about any situation. i am looking for a roommate who is responsible, independent, intelligent and who also has a good sense of humor. if your politics lean right, living here would be wrong for you. rent can be adjusted to include lawn care and bi-weekly indoor cleaning services. assuming everything is working out, after 6 months, you may continue to rent on a month to month basis.
