room for rent in 1950's florida ranch home. we are a young couple (28/31) and the owners of the house. we welcome anybody educated, clean and respectful with a full-time activity. for more information, please read below:what we offer:
- bedroom+closet with hardwood floors, central ac, ceiling fan, blinds on windows. the room is not furnished.
- storage space in the garage, in the kitchen, and in the fridge/freezer.
- parking space in the driveway
- shared kitchen and bath (both renovated), shared washing machine and dryer (both new).
- utilities and wifi included.
- no tv, no cable included (if you want to get it you can but installation and bills are on you)
rules: no smoking inside, no pets (some exceptions may apply for small pets, provided they get along well with our 2 cats), limited visitors. we all clean after ourselves, especially in common areas.
the house: 2 bed / 1 bath. we bought this house in need of tlc and started renovating it. it is now comfortable (plumbing, central ac and electrical all good) but still needs cosmetic/decoration work. in other words: the house is comfortable but somehow ugly and empty :). we have a large front yard and a huge fenced in backyard with a grill. the house is located in the highly desirable lakewood estates neighborhood, a very safe and quiet neighborhood in st pete, surrounded by a golf course (st pete country club) and the boyd hill nature preserve, and close to everything (<1min to 275, 5 min to downtown, 8 min to beaches, <2 min to grocery stores).
us: straight white couple, 28/32, non-smokers, both working part-time outside and part-time from home. we are nice and respectful and we mind our own business and we expect you to do the same. we usually socialize outside of our home and have very few visitors. we have 2 indoor cats.
