we are seeking pet-free, childless, quiet, clean and financially responsible career professionals, ideally non-smokers. we have two rooms that will be available on may 1 (though i can be flexible with the date for the right person). as i will be out of town for the majority of the year, there will primarily be only two people living at this house.we are located in a quiet, safe neighborhood in silver spring. we are 5 minutes from the nearest bus stop, and less than 1 mile from the nearest subway station (forest glen). we are about 9 stops to metro center station in dc. close to amenities, downtown silver spring and the wheaton mall.
the house is a 3-level townhouse with a gated backyard. included with each room will be access to the kitchen, laundry, gated backyard, one parking space, and the internet.
the master bedroom on the second floor has its own private bathroom and is quite spacious, with three windows and ample closet space. the price for this room is $850 plus utilities. it can come unfurnished or partially furnished--currently we have a full sized bed, bedside tables, some shelving units and a table and chair.
the basement bedroom (has two windows) is medium-sized, and also has a private bathroom and a closet. there is also a storage nook next to the room which has a closet rod installed, for additional closet space. this will be going for $650 a month plus utilities. it can come partially furnished (shelving unit, table and chair, end table) or unfurnished.
if you would like more space for your basement setup, for an additional $50 per month, we can make arrangements for you to use part of the basement living room as your personal space (our last tenant used it as a study and a living room, we use part of it for storage). we can also include a basement mini fridge with this option.
first and last will be required up front. a security deposit of $400 is also required.
