seeking one pet-free, childless, quiet, clean and financially responsible career professional, ideally a non-smoker.we have a master bedroom that will be available on may 1 (though i can be flexible with the date for the right person). as i will be out of town for the majority of the year, there will primarily be only one (you) or two people living in this house (i have a basement room for rent as well, with private bathroom). if i do rent to you first, i will include you when it comes time to choose the second roommate, since you will be the ones actually living together.
the house is a 3-level townhouse with a gated backyard. included with each room will be access to the kitchen, laundry, gated backyard, one parking space, and the internet.
the master bedroom on the second floor has its own private bathroom and is quite spacious, with three windows and ample closet space. the price for this room is $850 plus utilities. it can come unfurnished or partially furnished--currently we have a full sized bed, bedside tables, some shelving units and a table and chair.
we are located in a quiet, safe neighborhood in silver spring. we are 5 minute walk from the nearest bus stop, and less than 1 mile from the nearest subway station (forest glen). we are about 9 stops to metro center station in dc. close to amenities, downtown silver spring and the wheaton mall.
this can be a month to month arrangement (will need a one month advance notice if you choose to leave), however i will give preference to those who wish to stay 6 months or longer.
first and last will be required up front. a security deposit of $400 is also required.
also, ask me about an opportunity to reduce the rent!
