in search for a roommate to share my current 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in the heart of crown point.i am a female in my mid-20s with a regular mon-fri 9am-5pm job. i like to go out or have friends over, but try to limit that to the weekends. i love to cook and keep a tidy apartment. i'm looking for a roommate that also likes to come home to a clean place and is willing to contribute to the clean up. ideally i would like a female roommate around my age, as well as having a job with regular hours.
the apartment building is new and very modern with new appliances, floor to ceiling windows, and concrete floors. there is gated parking, a community bbq deck, and an elevator. the building is located next to four restaurant options, just two blocks to the bay (east or west), and a short bike ride to the beach. the building is three levels, the unit i am in is on the top floor.
inside the unit: there is a dishwasher, air-conditioning / heating, and laundry within the apartment. there is a large entry way where bikes can be stored. the two bedrooms are roughly the same size, my room just has the bathroom located inside. the second bedroom has two windows, a (larger) closet inside the room, and (larger) bathroom located just outside the bedroom door. *please note the bedroom photographed above is my bedroom, but the two look similar. the bedroom for rent is being occupied at the moment. however, the bathroom photographed above would be yours.
furniture: not all furniture pictured above will be staying. so if you happen to have any furniture for the main living area and kitchen, you could potentially bring with you.
pets: i have a very friendly cat that mainly stays in my bedroom. he is very well behaved and has soft paws on his claws so he does not scratch any furniture. ideally i would prefer no other animals, but i'm open to discussion.
rent and utilities: the current rent for the entire apartment is $2395.00 and i am offering to pay $100 more (each month) than my new roommate, since some of my furniture is already in the apartment and my bathroom is within my bedroom. gated parking is $50 extra per month and there are storage units available upon request. utilities run at about $175 each per month.
total rent would be $1097.50, plus $50 in parking and roughly $175 in utilities = bringing the total to roughly $1322.50 per month. there is also a $500 security deposit to be made directly to the landlord.
**i am looking for someone to move in january 1, 2016. the apartment is leased until july 2016 with the option to extend. only apply if you can pass a credit check and be on the lease.
