hello! i'm a sarcastic, cleanly guy (the cleanly part wasn't sarcasm) who's looking for a roommate to split a very spacious 2-bedroom apartment with. i've been living here for about 8 months now, and i love the place, but my current roommate is moving out, so i'm back on the market for a roommate.a little about me: i'm a full-time grad student in professional writing, graduating in december. after that, i hope to find a full-time job in the area. i love dogs (cats are welcome, too!), basketball, music of all varieties but particularly indie and hip-hop, cooking, and relaxing after a long day of work.
a little about the apartment: first off, it's fully furnished. big green couch, nice white armchair, a bookshelf, a big hdtv, a kitchen table with two chairs, working internet, air conditioning, a full kitchen, and a massive bathroom. your room has a set of drawers and an honest-to-goodness roll top desk. it's authentic. me and my roommate lugged all this furniture up here. it's amazing. your room also has a giant closet, and there are two more big giant closets in the front room and the living room.
the apartment itself is in shadyside, so it's in an excellent spot. a short walk from the busway and from fifth avenue, so you can get anywhere.
in a roommate, i'm looking for someone who cleans up after themselves, has a good sense of humor, isn't sexist/racist/homophobic/horribly offensive, and pays the rent on time. beyond that, i don't much care. gender, smoking, drinking, doesn't matter to me. i don't often have guests over, but you'd certainly be welcome to.
if you have pets: bring them. i love animals more than most people, so honestly, the more the merrier. my soon-to-be former roommate had a boxer mutt and a lovely cat, so filling the void would be awesome.
