i live in a cozy, fully furnished, and updated home in point breeze and am looking for a new housemate.my ideal housemate would be tidy, low-key, courteous, and enjoying having a glass of wine at the end of the day. i would also prefer someone who is either a grad student or a working professional.
about me: i'm a 26 year-old female and am currently working in the hospitality industry. my hours can be long, hence a low-key housemate would be lovely. when i'm not at work, i love to bake and cook, so having someone to share that with would be great. i also enjoy reading, netflix (favorite shows include the walking dead, game of thrones, top chef, outlander), and having fun.
the home has 1.5 bathrooms (half bath found on the main floor), living room, small dining room space, breakfast bar and a kitchen at the back of the home. off of the kitchen, there is a small backyard, when the weather permits, is a nice place to have a cup of coffee. there's also a fully finished basement (complete with sleeper sofa & soon to be tv). there is also a laundry room in the basement which doubles as a small storage area.
upstairs on the second floor, there are the two bedrooms & main bath. the dimensions of the available room are about 12 x 13 ft and it also has a decently sized closet. the room is found at the back of the house and faces toward the philadelphia skyline.
the only furniture you will need to provide is for your own room. the kitchen is pretty well stocked and doesn't require any additional items (maybe a few mugs of your own).
the home itself is the perfect size for two people, but is also somewhat limited in storage. so, if you're prone to clutter or have a lot of stuff, this is likely not the ideal house for you. organization is key in this home and is important to maintain so that it can be enjoyed to the max.
after my current housemate moves out, this will be a pet free home (with the exception of when my parents visit and bring their dogs).
