i am a 3rd year law student at temple law looking for a roommate to move in august for a year. the apartment is on the corner of 9th and berks and is brand new. http://www.paseoverdeapts.com/. my roommate has already moved out so theoretically you'd be able to move in immediately.the apartment is only 2 years old and i was it's first tenant. the kitchen has brand new appliances (fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave, blender) and there is a washer/dryer located in the bathroom. the living room has been fully furnished by me but i would obviously be willing to allow you to move your stuff in and make the place your own. your room is fairly large with 2 closets and 2 large windows. the apartment has central air and heat and i already have the cable and internet hooked up.
there is a pharmacy on the first floor as well as a health center that is free of charge to the renters. there is a garage for covered parking as well. the apartment is adjacent to a train station (sound is not an issue- it's on the opposite side of the building) and there is a bike-share program up the block in front of a cafe. the apartment is walking distance from temple's campus and the broad street line.
pets are allowed, although i do not own any. it is a smoke-free apartment however.
