looking for a laid back individual to share a solid old house in portsmouth. the house has five rooms and currently we have a room that is vacant and are looking for someone to move in before the weekend or sooner. the room is $350 on a year's lease and month-to-month is $375. your choice.we do have to pay utilities which range from $60 in summer to $90 in the winter. the room is on the first floor so you'll be toasty this winter!
we have two bathrooms; the upstairs is just a shower and the downstairs is an old cast iron tub. we have an awesome porch with a couch, perfect to enjoy portland weather along with a big back yard that could serve as a garden if you stick around until next summer.
location: this is why you want to live here. admittedly, the peninsula is out of the way but not this house, it has excellent transportation links. the 35 is a 3 minute walk away and takes you to rose quarter and downtown in a half hour and psu in 45 min. the 75 also picks up and drops off right in front of the house. going towards st. john's, the grocery outlet, safeway, and fred meyers are a five minute bus ride. the 75 going the other way takes 15 minutes to get to the lombard max station. that's pretty great for portland.
