hello artists, musicians, animal- and nature-lovers, and peace-seeking people:i am seeking one more person to join my emerging household.
i intend to rent a house in olympia's eastside beginning in march - may (though strongly leaning toward march). the house i have in mind is on 9th ave, so within walking distance of ralph's and downtown oly and has easy access to the freeway. the house itself is mostly painted white and looks pretty basic on the inside, and has 1,100 sq ft of floor space.
rent would be approximately $300 - 450 depending on which room you move into (one is significantly larger than the others). there may be a deposit equal or less than the cost of your rent.
i'm a preschool teacher / child care provider with a very soft spot for creatures of all kinds including spiders and snakes. i'm a very compassionate, sensitive, and accepting person, but i refuse to accept hostile treatment from others.
the other two soon-to-be members of the household are my good friends. they are both gentle, intelligent young men with a strong appreciation for music, nature, and meaningful conversation.
the lease will be in my name, so your expectation to stay is flexible. i'd like you to be able to commit for 3 months if you move in, then may consider a longer term if you want.
there will be no illegal drug use in the house. "420" must be kept out of common areas (due to my job)
our new household member should share a calm and loving presence, appreciation for nature, and ideally have creative interests. preferably, you would be in your twenties and at a similar stage in life, but personality and lifestyle compatibility is more important to me than age. a couple -might- be considered, but for an increase in rent (still under $500) because space is limited and there is only one bathroom in the house we're planning to rent.
