second room is $1,200.00 (13'x11' with a 8' closet)
owner: single 50s professional, often away, easy going, responsible, clean, non-smoking. you: responsible, stable, clean, non-smoker. any age, gender or culture. no pets, sorry. character matters. 1 full bath. large driveway with additional parking area for off street parking. extremely quiet, completely safe neighborhood. solid roomy good vibes home. the house has hardwood floors, central ac, washer and dryer, cable, wireless high speed internet throughout the house, cable tv, patio with hot tub and huge back yard for bbq's, the pictures speak for themselves. there is a cozy large bright living room w/ picture window, a large dining room and remodeled kitchen with natural hickory cabinets. washer and dryer are located in the basement.

shopping: oakland is situated equal distance (about 10 miles) to all the stores in the paramus and willowbrook malls. there's a super sized shop-rite right in town with other local stores for all occasions. oakland and is situated less five miles away from franklin lakes, mahwah, wyckoff, wayne and pompton lakes. shopping in ramsey, ridgewood, suffern and woodcliff lake are only 10-15 miles away.
restaurants: oakland has a great mix of fine restaurants; from local favorites offering fine dining to moderate priced to fast food joints. there is something for every taste here; italian, chinese, sushi, burgers, great diner food, etc, etc. the surrounding towns have some awesome places to eat as well, including ridgewood which has over 125 restaurants!
transit: 1 mile from rte 287. 22 miles to george washington bridge. less than a mile to nj transit bus service in the center of town. 9 miles to nj transit radburn, fairlawn station. 10 miles to nj transit ramsey route 17 station which has more than 1,200 parking spaces. 10 miles to route 4 in paramus. oakland is so close to everything that anywhere is easily reached but it's tucked far enough away to afford a beautiful, quiet environment.
