large top floor private room for rent!the neighborhood:
house is in a quiet, safe neighborhood, in the center of town (newington). it is within walking distance to local restaurants, mill pond park, the library, town hall and bus lines.
easy access to route 9, 5 and 15, 91 and 84. six minutes from ccsu.
the house:
this is an open concept house with a newly renovated kitchen that leads to the dining and living room areas. a shared first floor bathroom is at the bottom of the private staircase that leads to the master suite (your bedroom). there is off- street parking in the driveway, fenced-in yard and sunroom that opens to a patio. no pets allowed.
the bedroom:
the second floor is for rent that i used to use as my master bedroom. this is a large room that could comfortably fit a bed, couch, desk and more. in this bungalow house the attic (slanted ceiling) has been renovated into this master bedroom. it has two closets and is zoned separate from the first floor for air conditioning and heat.
the roommates:
two female professionals (both 27) live on the main floor. one is a teacher and the other works in the medical field. both are inviting as well as very respectful of personal space and activities. we keep the house, especially the common rooms, clean and well organized.
we are looking for a female, non-smoking, roommate in her 20's who is friendly, clean, neat, responsible, and financially stable. ideally, we'd like a roommate with similar interests of going to the gym, having a glass of wine, and watching a few mindless television shows.
rent $600 a month in addition to shared utilities. rental contract required as well as one month's rent as a security deposit.
