hi there,

my roommate for the last 3 years is moving out and i now have a quiet room at 92nd between lexington and 3rd avenues that's open for you! it is a decent sized bedroom with a full sized closet and two windows overlooking a courtyard that's about as quiet and serene as things get in nyc. you also will have a second full sized closet in the hallway all to yourself! the living room has two large windows, also overlooking the courtyard, so we get plenty of sunlight. this is a 2 bedroom, and the bathroom is shared. the location is about a 6 minute walk to the 4,5, and 6 trains, which gets you into midtown quite quickly. we would preferably be drawing up a new contract with the company and signing a 1 year lease together, and we would split the cost of internet as well.

about me: i'm a 29 year old male looking to live with either a male or female in a similar age range. i'm a mechanical engineer from notre dame that is currently pursuing a career in acting. i'm very diligent about my finances and responsibilities, and i'm also frequently gone from the apartment. i'm looking for someone that works standard hours, and if that's the case with you, you'll find you often have the place to yourself in the evenings until around 10 or 11 or so. i rarely bring people around, and i have not thrown a party in the past 3 years and i have no plans to start any time soon. any time you are home, i will be watching tv with headphones on, but that doesn't need to be reciprocated!
