i am a retired senior citizen offering a roommate share in my upper west side 4-room apartment, in a safe & elegant hi-rise bldg (24-hr doorman), located just one block away from stores & restaurants, buses & trains, between 2 beautiful parks & walking-distance to columbia university. you'll have your own large, light & airy unfurnished room with wall-to-wall carpeting, bookcases & wall shelves, 3 windows and two big closets. wireless internet & optional cable tv are offered as amenities, and a modern laundry room is in the basement.

basic ground rules: you can be m/f/lgbt, must be a mature adult, have a regular daily routine & schedule, must respect my privacy and understand there can be no friend sleep-overs or parties; house-trained pets are okay; you must pay rent and 1/2 the utilities (con edison gas & electric, fios wi-fi internet) on time and you absolutely must not be a bathroom hog.
