this is a one bedroom apartment converted to 2. we're on the 38th floor of a high rise luxury building in the financial district. the building has a 24-hr doorman, gym, lounge, and sun deck. the views are unbelievable! you can see the east river from all the windows. we would be putting up a flex wall to make the second bedroom off of the living room. your room would have a window, but it doesn't have a closet. there's a really nice sized closet in the living room, steps from your door, that would be yours! the lease hasn't started yet, so the wall isn't up, and i don't have exact dimensions of the room. the wall isn't allowed to go all the way to the ceiling, and there can't be a door, because of fire code. however, we wouldn't share a wall so there shouldn't be too big of a noise/light issue, and there are a few ways to get around the door.

there's one full bathroom in the apartment that is newly renovated and gorgeous. the kitchen is great, and has all stainless steel appliances that includes a microwave and a small dishwasher! the kitchen has a ton of storage and was also newly remodeled. i found this apartment on my own, so the only fees would be first months rent and the security deposit.

i signed the lease a week ago, and would be moving in with you, so we can create the space together which is really great!! i am really outgoing and friendly, and am looking for a roommate who is the same. my hobbies include netflix, watching chicago sports, exploring, drinking wine, and napping. i would love a roommate that i could be friends with and would want to do occasional roommate dinners, go out, and explore! i've had a roommate for all 4 years of college, so i know how to live with other people. i also am very clean, so you won't have to worry about your stuff, personal space, or messes!!

i'm looking for a roommate who is clean and is respectful of shared spaces. no pets, no drugs, and hoping to find someone who won't bring the party back to the apartment.
