my roommate and i are looking for a 3rd roommate for our 2 bedroom apartment in stuy town (east village). just look at the website and you will fall in love - http://www.stuytown.com/. it has a huge court yard with a farmers market on the summer weekends, along with tons of social events year round.

one person would be sharing the room with me. it is a large bedroom (master bedroom on the floorplan) and 15' by 12'. it comfortably fits two queen size beds and is divided by bookshelves. also, i spend a few nights a week away from home, so you will have some nights with additional privacy. the bedroom has two large windows over looking the east river.

there is one bathroom. there is also a ton of shared living space so we don't feel squashed together living in a two bedroom apartment. the whole apartment is furnished. the living room/dining room is huge and we have a beautiful persian rug to boot! plus an amazing view from the living room window as well and all the rooms get lots of light. the kitchen is remodeled with granite counter tops and easy to share between three people, we all do a fair amount of cooking.

within walking distance to all the east village hot spots, only a couple avenues from union square! being right on the river we get to take advantage of the beautiful new path that runs along the river, great for walking, jogging or biking.

a little about me - i am originally from north dakota and have been living in new york now for a year after finishing an undergraduate program in los angeles - i am 24 years old. i work monday through friday for 45-60 hours a week at an autism research lab. on the weekends, i am usually active going to the farmers market in union square or going out with friends.

available january 1st with a possibility for move in the last week of december. let me know if you are interested.
