i have a couple of rooms for rent in a 3/4 bedroom home with only one shared bath. it is a large home with a fenced in yard and off street parking for 4 cars. there are two rooms available but only one really needs to be rented out unless you need more room. one has a bed and a nightstand and the other is not furnished. there is also a washer and dryer in a section of the basement as well.i have lived in this house for 7+ years. i have two boys ages 12 and 13 that are here only every other weekend. most of the basement has been converted into a living area and part of it is the boys room. i also work a part time job monday – wednesday so am hardly home. my last two roommates have been female so i feel comfortable in looking for another female roommate.
my friend who is the landlord lives and is stationed permanently in san diego and works for the military. he does, however, come home usually 3 times a year for visits. christmas (2-3 weeks), summer (3-4 weeks) and spring (2 weeks). he keeps and still pays a portion of the rent for his downstairs bedroom. he also has a daughter that comes with him for christmas and summer time.
