very nice accommodations to share, this newer home and property are located in the woods on a quiet no-through traffic street directly across from lake waubesa. the property is located approximately one block from goodland park, which is also on lake waubesa. goodland park is beautiful being one of the nicest county parks in the madison area. it offers mature trees, tennis courts, picnic areas with pavilions, horseshoe pits, a swimming beach, boat launch... it's simply a great place to hang out on a beautiful day... really very nice.lake waubesa is known for water sports including kayaking, boating, water skiing, jet skiing, and unique trophy fishing opportunities including huge muskies largemouth and smallmouth bass, walleyes and pan fishing. lake waubesa is one of a chain of four lakes that includes lake mendota, lake monona, lake waubesa and lake kegonsa all connected by the yahara river. i have a kayak that's available for a tenants use. kayaking to lake kegonsa from lake waubesa down the yahara river is an awesome day trip.
the property is conveniently located not more than 12 minutes from the university of wisconsin campus shopping and downtown madison. the madison bicycle trail is accessible within minutes from the property and located at lake farm park directly en route to madison. there's plentiful wildlife to enjoy here including deer... sandhill cranes, wild turkeys, songbirds and squirrels, a wild life experience you will not have living in the city in an apartment. living in the woods is an awesome lifestyle!
