we are searching to fill a room in our apartment by feb. 20th. we live on belleview and dudley, which is five minutes away from practically everything; smack dab in between wadsworth and kipling. my fiance and i are 20 (me) ad 21 (him) so we are looking for someone within our age range, but it is not necessary. the room is 10x12 feet and you would also have your own bathroom. there is a spacious closet as well. the washer and dryer are also in the unit. the rent for one person is $720 a month (including water/sewage) and about $50 for electric this time of the year due to the (stupid) heating unit.rent is due on the 1st of every month, and we have until the 3rd of every month to pay without a late fee. once it warms up, electric will go down to $20-$30. i know it is kind of a lot for rent, but unfortunately, we cannot afford the apartment otherwise ): our last roommates kind of ditched us. electric is typically due anywhere from the 20th-30th, and i will let you know in advance when it is due. if you are a couple or a pair of friends, the rent would be $360 each and $25 ea. for electric. we are willing to negotiate slightly on the rent if you are by yourself. there is also a dog park in the complex, and we own two very sweet basset hounds, so dog lovers are strongly encouraged to message me! of course we would like to set up interviews and such, but the main thing we are looking for is someone who is tidy and will clean up after themselves i.e. do your dishes, vacuum occasionally, don't leave the kitchen a mess when you are finished in it, don't track dirt in the apartment (we have rugs at the front door), and to just in general try not to make huge messes, and if you do, to just clean up after yourself. i like to keep the apartment as clean as possible. and of course, someone who can pay the rent on time every month on time.
