i am a 52 year old professional white male who owns a 3 bedroom ranch house in roxborough park, which is a neighborhood southwest of denver in littleton. the neighborhood is one of the prettiest around denver and is a guarded community. it has a few parks, playgrounds and quite a nice system of hiking trails. the area around it includes roxborough state park and waterton canyon for hiking, biking, fishing, etc.here’s what i’m offering: a medium sized room with a decent closet (approx. 12’x15’) that is unfurnished (my previous 2 room mates brought their own bed/dresser). the bathroom is attached and would be yours solely, but it doesn’t have private access. you will also have a spot for you car in the garage with garage door opener. rent also includes use of all appliances such as washer/dryer, refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge in the garage. if you have cooking utensils, great… if not, i have many that can be used. there is space in the garage and in the basement for storing extra items. the costs of any items such as laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, paper towels, etc. can be split, or discussed on how to handle.
i have a 9 year old dog, an english pointer mix who roams the upper floor while i’m at work. she’s a friendly dog and loves other people/dogs. i am open to a room mate with a dog (my previous room mate had a dog and it worked out pretty good). the neighborhood doesn’t allow fences so your dog would have to be monitored when out in the yard.
i am looking to get a flat rate of $800/month which includes all utilities. if you look at the cost of rental here in denver, you’ll see this is a very good deal. i am also up for negotiation if you seem like a good fit. month to month is what i have done in the past.
