i have a year lease on a 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment in a 4-plex near man o war and nicholasville rd. have a dishwasher and washer/dryer in unit, there is off street parking in a quiet neighborhood. half of rent is $255, so with utilities (electric/water/internet) it would be around $375 per month. i would require a deposit of $300. i do not have cable, but do have netflix and a ps3 to stream it on.i am 27 just moved here from colorado, work full time, and start at uk part time in spring. i have a cat, am quiet, nerdy and crafty. i do not do drugs nor will i tolerate it in my home. i do smoke, but only outside. i don’t party or go out to bars; i would rather stay home and knit or crochet. currently the second bedroom has books in it; i will be putting those things in storage for a roommate. the apartment is pretty well furnished, but if you have living room furniture we can negotiate how to set things up.
i don’t know many people here, so i do not have people over often. occasionally the guy i am seeing will spend the weekend, but he isn’t here all the time (lives a couple hours away). i would not be ok with people being over all the time.
i would prefer a female roommate, young professional or college student. if you have a cat and ours get along, that is great! lease is negotiable, but minimum 3 months.
