i am a safe, quiet, christian professional (high school teacher) looking for a good roommate to share expenses with in my home. starting in august when the school year begins again, i am gone nearly the entire day working. weekends during the school year i'll spend grading (home or out), going to the gym, church, meeting up with friends usually outside the home, etc. there is one dog (retriever mix) who is a licensed therapy dog i sometimes keep during the week for a friend who drives a truck. she's quiet, obedient, sweet and non-aggressive.

i'm offering the largest of 2 guest bedrooms with its own closet (larger of the 2 closets) and access to what would be your own bathroom, but it's on the hall near the kitchen, so it's technically a guest bathroom that would primarily be yours. carpeted bedroom, recently steam-cleaned and ready to go. (rest of the house is faux-hardwood and tile).

there are currently no furnishings in the room, so please feel free to bring what you'd like for it. you'd also have access to the kitchen with brand-new (well, 1 year-old) nice appliances including stove, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher. kitchen is furnished and open to your use. groceries are to be used as purchased by the individual unless otherwise noted, please. other areas of the house open for use include living room, dining room, backyard and garage.

looking for someone who can be clean, courteous, pleasant, reliable, responsible, and quiet within reason. someone who has morals, legal, steady income and can meet deadlines. women of faith encouraged, but not required. no age limitation.

rent: $550 - month-to-month, for private bedroom with closet, bathroom, full access (minus my room) to 1600 sq ft home with garage, laundry, and yard in safe neighborhood minutes from 1-85.

utilities extra, and split, but will vary from month-to-month so no set rate here (usually about $150 per person)
