rooms available by october 1- potentially earlier if necessary.i am looking for roommate(s) to rent out the upstairs portion of my house, and i will be living in the basement primarily. the upstairs portion is 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. the master bedroom has its own private bathroom and rents for $800/month. the other two smaller bedrooms share the other bathroom upstairs, and each of the smaller bedrooms rents for $650/month.
additionally, we will all share use of the common areas including the family room, dining room, kitchen, and deck/patio. there is a two car garage with room for one more car currently. the garage space will rent for an extra $20/month to whomever signs the lease first and wants it.
i do not have cable, and plan to only have internet. all utilities will be split between roommates.
the house is located in a quiet neighborhood in lakewood, colorado. major cross streets that it is closest to are probably hampden and sheridan, bear valley neighborhood.
as far as lease terms, planning to do a month-to-month lease, with 60 day notice of move out required. the rent price will stay the same for a 12 month term however, so no penalty if an early move out is needed. all rooms are available for move in september 15th ideally. i am looking for low key roommates, who enjoy being outdoors and don't mind dogs. i have an 8 lb dog named truffle. therefore, i am not leasing to anyone who has any pets (with the exception of potentially fish). no cigarette smokers. one month's rent deposit will be required, in addition to a credit and background check.
about me: pharmacist, now self-employed and working remotely from home. i travel a lot, and therefore, do not have many items in the house (i.e. no couch, dressers etc). so any furniture/cooking utensils etc that you have, definitely consider bringing. i am outdoorsy and fun. also a huge fan of sarcasm and seeing just how many words i can get published on urban dictionary.
