the available space includes 2 large private bedrooms and a large private bath on the ground floor of the 2,250 sq ft house. the kitchen, dining room, and living room are shared common areas on the upper level of the home. the large laundry room is shared; on the ground level.there is off-street parking, a garage for bikes, and a yard/garden to enjoy in a quiet neighborhood. the house was built in 2005 and has quality energy-efficient appliances.
the monthly rent is $1400, plus 1/2 of the utilities. the utilities include gas, electric, water, trash, and internet; totaling ~$190/month. there is a $1,000 deposit and the first month's rent is due at time of lease signing. there is a standard fee for a background check.
you would share the home with me, my children (age 7 & 10) who live in the home part-time, and a social senior cat who stays mostly in my section of the home. i'm open to single moms, female college students, and possibly couples.
the house is 1 mile from 2 different bus routes, a mile from the lake forest park town center and burke gilman trail. our schools are brookside elementary, kellogg middle school, and shorecrest high school. the home is close to the community colleges north of seattle, and the bastyr, uw, and uw bothell campuses.
