hi i saw your listing and wondered if you still needed a roommate/place to live. i have a 2br 2bath apartment on the southside of indy, and i'm really needing to find a new roommate. my current roommate is having a baby (this week!) and has decided to move home w/ her parents at the end of the lease (or sooner if i can find a new roommate). let me know if you're interested and hopefully we can set up a time for you to see the place :)i have a 2br 2bath apt on the south side of indy. off of stop 11 and emerson, very close to i-65 (at the southport road exit). if you’d like more info on the apt you can go to http://www.myhgmc.com/apartments/indianapolis-apartments/greenwood-springs-apartments/keeneland-crest-apartments/home. if you'd like to view the floorplan, it is the victorian.
i currently have a female roommate, who will be moving in w/ her parents at the end of our lease. i have to know by may 1 if i am renewing my lease, but without a roommate i just can’t afford to do that but i love where i live. it’s a nice apt. the lease is up july 11, but she has a baby on the way and wants to be able to move home asap. she contacted the leasing office and was told that if i was able to find another roommate, they could come in and pay the $35 application fee, and once they pass the criminal background check, they can take her name off the lease and add the new person to the lease whenever we wanted them to.
the leasing office said the apt is 1100sq feet, it is on the 2nd floor so it has vaulted ceilings in the living room. it includes a free washer and dryer in the unit, walk in closets, and the balcony is screened in. on-site there is a nice workout facility and a pool. the rent currently is $753/month which includes water, sewer, trash removal, so if you were to move in your half would be $376.50/month plus half of the utilities. it is total electric, so no high gas bills. electric runs between 75-115/month depending on how much the heat/air conditioning is run and then there’s directv which runs about $65/month and comcast cable internet which runs about $50/month. so, total you’d be looking at around $500 a month including rent/utilities, give or take a few dollars.
there is no deposit to move in, as i already paid the $99 deposit at the beginning of my lease, it would just be your half of the rent for the month that you move in. the main hallway bathroom would mostly be yours, the only thing shared in there would be the washer/dryer. it’s a full-size stacking unit.
the apartments allow 2 pets per apartment w/ a $175 non-refundable pet fee plus an extra $20/month. i already have 1 cat, so if you have 1 pet that's fine, but no more than 1 pet. if you do have a pet, you would have to pay the full $175 fee at the beginning but i would be willing to split the extra $20 with you each month.
about me: i am a 29yr old straight female (i’ll be 30 in august). i work for a company that provides oxygen and durable medical equipment to patients and i’ve been there for almost 10yrs, so i have steady income. i am very quiet and keep to myself, i stay in my room most of the time when i’m home, and rarely have guests over. i am a non-smoker and prefer if you are a smoker that you smoke outside.
