the room: 12x15 and is furnished with a full size bed, tv, chair, nice size closet and a view of the back yard. we have full backyard access and deck. all hardwood floors. we would share the living room, bathroom and kitchen.rent is 800$ a month. utilities (electric, cable, gas, internet and phone) $125 a month. 1 month security is due upon acceptance of the room and first month rent is needed when you move in.
transportation: the apartment is in what is considered east flushing, queens (look at the google map below to see exactly were that is). there are 2 ways to get to the city..... the apt is a 6 minute walk to the broadway stop on the lirr port washington line and takes 25 minutes to get to penn station. or a 10 minute bus to the 7 subway line at flushing main street which is about a 45 trip from front door to midtown that is during rush hour. all other times it takes about an hour at least.
i am 35, female, work as an executive assistant and work 9-5. i love to cook and garden. i love to party but really on weekends anymore i don't bring parties home nor do i bring random "guests" home. i like to have friends over time to time for dinner. i have a cat (midnight) and a dog (penny), so you need to be ok with pets. not looking for bff but would like someone social, nice and fun to be around. i have no problem with "guests" if they are respectful and it isn't a parade of different people every night.
