bedroom available in sunny furnished apartment in evanstonsingle active fun 56 year old woman looking for a female room-mate (age 24 - 70) to share my sunny two bedroom apartment in evanston. $675 month includes rent, all utilities, wifi and xfinity "limited basic" tv.
the apartment is fully furnished so perfect for someone on short-term work assignments in chicago and graduate students. i am open to short-term (3 month) up to one year lease. full use of the apartment. your bedroom has a two-year old queen size bed, dresser, closet. we share a large living room, large dining room, eat-in kitchen with brand new gas stove (no dishwasher) and bathroom. full size washer and dryer off the kitchen.
we will share the top floor of a two-flat in friendly residential neighborhood. street parking is always available. easy, pleasant walk one mile to downtown and the lake or easier 5 minute drive. the pace bus stops 3 houses north of me and a 5 minute (1 mile) ride east gets you to metra and cta purple line. take the same bus west and you're at o'hare in one hour.
cat-lovers and non-smokers only. i have three friendly cats, but not certified crazy cat lady yet. their litter boxes are in the rear of the apartment, not in the common space and are cleaned daily. never smelly, never have accidents.
i am a social drinker and have occasional low-key (usually dinner) parties. you are welcome to join and hostess the same! i am looking for an easy-going room-mate who values laughter and harmony in the home. don't expect/need someone to spend social time with but open to the possibility.
the apartment is available the last week of june.
