the room has hardwood floors and (like the rest of the apartment) gets excellent light. there is a large closet in the bedroom as well as a wall air conditioner. there is also a large hallway closet that is empty and would be yours. the bedroom window looks out on the beautiful courtyard and nature reserve. the apartment is furnished, although there is room for more furniture if you would like to bring some. i have three cats; they have been trained to stay out of the free bedroom but are friendly. i also have an elliptical trainer in the living room which you would be welcome to use. the kitchen is enormous and "sort of kosher"; by which i meant that i follow many kosher dietary rules. so i am very open to special diets such as vegan, vegetarian, halal, low gluten, ital, etc. the apartment is equipped with fios, so there is extremely reliable and fast wifi; i don't own a television, so you would have to bring that. utilities are not included, but my electricity bill thus far has been under 40.00$ a month (heat is included) although with ac in the summer i feel certain the bill may go up. i value clear and communication and would be glad to answer any questions you might have.
