one bedroom is available for rent in a two bedroom/two bathroom apartment located at the mazza grand marc.the apartment complex is positioned a very short driving distance(5-10 mins.)from the umcp campus and is right off of the 95/495 highway exits. water, cable, and internet service are included in the rent, and the electrical bill is, on average, about $40/mo. the units come fully and nicely furnished(bed(double), dresser, couch, chairs, side table, large-screen television)and with a washer and dryer. each occupant also has her/his own bathroom.
the mazza also offers bus service to campus(bus picks up directly in front of building), garage parking, and a small computer room with internet access. other amenities include a gym, pool, and picnic/bbq pit areas.
this facility is only about two years old, clean, and in my time living here, i have found it generally to be quiet(i'm a gradaute student).
shopping is less than a half mile away in either direction on baltimore avenue. additional shopping centers may be found a short trip away on greenbelt and cherry hill roads(target, k-mart, marshalls, staples, kohl's, ross’, old navy, etc.).
