looking for a fun, easy going, clean roommate to help with costs in this hectic city.the room has lots of natural light, tall ceilings, and faces the front of the building.
we would share a bathroom and the apartment has a private balcony, rooftop access with great views of manhattan, central ac, washer/dryer in the apartment and a dishwasher. the building is relatively new (about 5 years old). the area is pretty safe and has several grocery stores, convenient stores and bars/restaurants within walking distance.
i have a rescue dog who is nervous around new people but then loves them once he warms up to them, and a cat who automatically loves everyone.
i'm not a neat freak but like to keep the common areas very clean - my bedroom is a different story.
i love doing yoga, hiking, i write on my days off and relaxing at home. i go out on the weekends and an occasional week night but try not to bring the party home. i've had bad roomies in the past so i'd like to be friends with my new one. we don't have to be attached at the hip but would love to sit on the couch, drink wine and chat on occasion.
if you think we'd be a good fit living together let me know! would love to do at least a 6 month lease just to make sure we vibe well.
