looking for a roommate to fill 1 room in my beautiful 2br apartment in lovely carroll gardens. move in is april 1st. some of the apartment highlights include:

-wood floors and high ceilings
-controllable baseboard heating (hot water / nat gas)
-across the street from excellent laundromat / key foods grocery store
-large bedroom (~11 x 11) with no road noise, lots of natural light, and two large closets
-kitchen skylight

i ask that my potential roommate:

-is a friendly, motivated, and hardworking young professional with stable income
-is very clean and diligent with dishes
-does not bring a pet
-seldom brings the party home late at night

total rent is $2700/month ($1350/person). upon move in, i will only require first month's rent plus another month as the security deposit.

there is no lease commitment required since this is a month-to-month deal. although, it should be understood that, in the event of moving out, the mover should give 30 days heads-up and help drive the search for a replacement.
