one room available in a 2 bedroom williamsburg apartment for $875/month. the room is pretty big and has 2 windows and a large closet. i currently have a twin bed, futon, coffee table, desk, book shelf, and large set of drawers in the room. my current roommate has lived here happily for two years, but is now moving in with his boyfriend. the room can either be rented empty or partially furnished (twin bed, futon, desk) at your option.availability:
the move-in date is flexible. the room is available starting june 15, but would also entertain july 1 move-in.
location:
the apartment is located on stagg st between lorimer and leonard in williamsburg, brooklyn. the neighborhood is great and has many nearby amenities, including: key foods, gimme coffee, bike shop, bars, wine shop, etc. there is a laundromat and a deli on the block.
transportation:
located 7 blocks from the lorimer l/metropolitan g, 5 blocks from the broadway g, and about 5 blocks from either the hewes or lorimer j stops. the b48 stops on the corner.
about me:
your future roommate is a nice guy in his mid-20s who works full time as a post-production sound engineer and is not home that much during the week.
security deposit/lease:
the landlord is very easygoing and we have not had a lease for over a year. would prefer someone who wants to stay long-term, but we can discuss summer sub-letters. we can also negotiate the security deposit, but probably somewhere in the neighborhood of $800.
