we are looking for a new roommate to move into our sunny, spacious and welcoming bed-stuy, brooklyn home august 1st. we are sad to see our current long-term roommate leave, but we're also excited at the prospect of meeting you!the room:
$560/month + bills ($40 - $80 per person/month)
hardwood floors, 8'x12', 1 medium-sized closet, sunny south facing window by the rooftop (great city view)
deposit is $560 (+last month's rent $560 +first month's rent $560) = $1680 to move in.
we are looking for someone that is interested in at-least a year long stay. we're asking for a minimum of six months-one year. must be willing to sign the lease and pass a credit check.
the roommates:
four queer/lesbian women, in our 20s and 30s, who are engaged with the world and exploring the city. three of us are women of color, one of us is not. we enjoy living in a positive, supportive community together and are ready to welcome a new member!
who we are looking for to fill our vacancy:

mature and conscious of being clean and considerate in communal spaces
good communication skillz
financially stable
interested in long term residence (we ask for a one-year commitment)
comfortable living with all sorts of people of different races, sexual identities, spiritual backgrounds, classes, ethnicities, and socio- economic backgrounds.
dealbreakers:
no pets!! :( sorry.
no indoor smoking.
we currently do not use hard drugs or have heavy alcohol inside the
house. outside the house you can do whatevs!
