seeking a friendly and responsible person* to rent a very nice, semi-furnished large br (currently an a/c and bed only; furniture can be removed at renter's request) in a 3br apt**, one block from prospect park.if that's you, you will be sharing a kitchen, bathroom and living room in addition to renting the room. amenities (use of internet/wifi, washing machine in apt, cable tv, etc) are included except electricity during the summer months. lease term will be on a continual month-to-month basis.
-location: prospect lefferts gardens. landmarks: lefferts homestead, botanical gardens, brooklyn museum, grand army plaza, brooklyn public library.
convenience: there are many supermarkets (5), pharmacies, restaurants, clothing stores and 24 hour delis within a short walking distance on flatbush ave.
-transportation: 3-4 min walk to parkside ave q train station. only 20 mins. to 14th street/union square and 25 mins. to midtown manhattan via the reliable q/b train lines; 7 mins to atlantic/barclays center.
trains: q, b, 2, 5.
buses: b41 (limited), b12, b49, b44 (limited and select buses), b35 (limited), b16, b43 and dollar vans.
