we have a beautiful two floor (top two of the building), 5 bedroom apartment in bushwick, one block away from the j train. our 5th roommate just moved to philadelphia for work and so we are looking for someone to sign a lease with us beginning august 1st.we're all friends and ideally want someone who would work well in our house, so you will have to meet us sometime so we can make sure we fit well together.
the room you'd be leasing is by far the best in the house, it has a decorative fire place access to a deck and is the only room on one of the floors (so you will have the most privacy in the house). all three of the bathrooms in the house are communal, though the four of us usually use the ones upstairs (because all of our rooms are upstairs) and so you'd have the other bathroom mostly to yourself. the apartment has very high ceilings (especially on the floor of the available room), a lot of storage, and a lot of light. there are many beautiful details (french doors, tin ceilings three fireplaces, hardwood floors). our landlord is amazing, very chill, communicative, she's always available to help whenever something in the apartment needs repair. it's a really great find especially in new york for this price, we've had absolutely no complaints in the past year and plan on staying for a long time! don't hesitate to ask any questions if you have some.
